Weathering and Erosion
Weathering is a destructive process that changes and breaks down rocks that are exposed on Earth's surface. Erosion is the process in which left overs from rocks are washed away or blew away from Earth's surface. Because of weathering and erosion, many place would have not existed if it wasn't for it. One example is the creation of the Grand Canyon. Another is the reason why rocks change in colors and in sizes.
