Physical Weathering
Physical weathering is really weather changing the sizes and shapes of rocks. Rocks are broken into smaller pieces but, the chemical inside of it remains the same. Different types of physical weathering are temperature change, freeze-thaw, wind, waves, and rain. Hot and cold temperatures can cause rock to contrast. With this process continuing, rocks soon start to break into smaller pieces. Water expands when it freezes, so when water enters the rock and freezes, the cracked pieces of the rock are getting bigger
